The Forge is where sport and community come together.
Two sheets of ice for hockey, figure skating, public skate, and learn-to-skate—serving every level, from first strides to competitive youth and adult leagues.
Off the ice, a complete training environment with gym space and room to grow—paired with a lodge atmosphere designed for how people actually spend their time. Coffee, workspace, restaurant, and bar—so families and friends stay, connect, or even take the ice themselves.
This isn’t another ice arena. It’s Bend’s athletic living room—a place to gather, move, and belong.

The problem
A Community Ready. And so are we.
Central Oregon loves ice. Access hasn't kept up. Bend's ice community has outgrown what's available. The Pavilion—Bend's only existing ice facility, an open-air covered rink owned and operated by the Park and Recreation District—is seasonal, with ice available only five months a year. Ice time is extremely limited. Families and athletes are strained before the season even begins.

Two NHL-Regulation Ice Sheets
A year-round, multi-use environment where hockey, figure skating, public skate, learn-to-skate, and adult leagues exist alongside training, and community spaces to grow, gather, stay, and play. More than a facility, it’s a place built for how a community takes shape and grows together.
Athletic Lodge
Where the fireplace is as important as the Zamboni. A gathering space where parents work, friends meet, and the community connects. This is Bend's athletic living room.
Tournament Ready
Two sheets mean simultaneous games. Bend's tourism infrastructure — hotels, restaurants, outdoor recreation — makes this a destination. Regional and national tournaments start here.
Pro Shop & Services
Skate sharpening, equipment essentials, and the services that keep athletes on the ice alongside a strength and conditioning gym for year-round development.
