The Momentum Behind The Forge Community Iceplex

The Forge Community Iceplex has moved from idea to action. The capital campaign has raised $10 million toward a $40 million goal, roughly 25% of the way there. A founding board of local hockey families and business leaders is steering the work. A feasibility study, a market analysis, and an operational pro forma all confirm the model. 

Each milestone makes the next step matter more. When you join now, you join a project that is already moving, with proof behind it and a community pushing it ahead. You do not have to be a hockey player to belong here. Hockey’s most dedicated community is passionate, and smaller than most people expect. USA Hockey counts more than 560,000 registered players across the entire country. The Forge is built for them, and for the many more who have never stepped on the ice.

Public skating, learn-to-skate, birthday parties, date nights, and a warm lounge with the fireplace going all make this a place for the whole region. Families who want to try something new will fit right in. So will neighbors who simply love watching Bend build something that lasts.
